Whenever we introduce our wines and rich tradition of Croatian winemaking on the global market, something this country is very proud, winemakers from Vrbnik on the island of Krk invariably find their place in that company. And they take great pleasure in accepting this honour. Every year in the month of August, they invite all those who delight in wine - either in making it or simply enjoying a drink of it. The gathering enables guests to enjoy a daylong wine presentations and sampling, to buy quality wines directly from producers, as well as to taste autochthonous gastronomic products of the Island Krk. In addition to the pleasures of the palate, be they induced by food or by drink, one can view attractive exhibitions of winemaking and winegrowing equipment of the island Krk, and the magic of the winemaking process that cannot be found in modern industrial production facilities.
