There is only one occasion when you can meet all twenty-eight Czech minority groups in one place in Croatia, and witness all that the Czech minority has achieved in Croatia: the Daruvar event, Dožinky, the oldest, largest and most attended event of the Czech minority in Croatia. This event has successfully taken place since 1925, and gathers more than a thousand participants and includes a procession of harvest floats. An especially attractive part of the event is the old Czech fair which shows off old forgotten skills, as well as the gastronomic, ethnographic and cultural heritage of the Czechs who have managed to carefully preserve their tradition in migration.
