The Koversada Cup, the international sea fishing competition, will be held for the eighteenth time. This competition involves fishing from anchored boats using a fishing rod or a hand-held fishing line with not more than three hooks. The type of bait used is at the discretion of the competitors.

Beginning at 8:30 AM off the Vrsar coast, the competition will last until 12:30 PM. The rich fish stock in this area is the main reason why this traditional boat angling competition lasts for four hours, instead of the usual five.

The catches will be handed over in front of the premises of the Baraj Fishing Club, and then the weighing of the catch – the part of the competition that the audience enjoys the most – will begin. The awards ceremony will be held in the restaurant of the tourist complex Belvedere, followed by lunch for all the participants.
