During those seven days, visitors to Krapina will see just how much the kajkavian culture is still alive and topical. All those attending the exhibition Kaj in words, pictures, songs and dancing and The youngest Kaj is the sweetest Kaj will be able to confirm that. These exhibitions are clear examples of the kajkavian dialect being an essential part of the Croatian written culture, a language of illustrative poetry and countless enlightening stories. In the same period Krapina also hosts the fair aptly named Where can you still buy it?, and the festive atmosphere is further enhanced by the concerts presenting Twenty new kajkavian songs. This is only a small part of the programme, which will take place in Ljudevit Gaj Square, at the Krapina Town Gallery, at the Museum of Evolution at Hušnjakovo and at the Festival Hall. But, a mere walk through the town will make you feel the wellknown hospitality of Zagorje.
